Weekend Recap

I hope you had a great weekend! I'm currently writing this (or trying to..writers block has hit me at the moment!) while watching Brady (one of our two manx kittens) play with a small plastic cup while simultaneously meowing every 2.5 seconds. I read that manx kittens were typically more vocal than other cat breeds and I think it's safe to say that they are right! When he isn't sleeping (rare) or cuddling (also rare), he's meowing. Sigh. At least he keeps us entertained! Stella and I had a great weekend full of cooking, baking, wine, The Crown (on Netflix sooo GOOD!), hiking, and a nice long run in. We drank wine, ate chocolate coconut almonds, and accidently binged on The Crown.

We (i.e. me) ran "long" for 10 miles and played afterwards in the parking lot

We made homemade pizza (AND dough) from scratch. It was delicious.

We also made homemade Cinnamon Rolls and ate our weight in them Sunday Morning. #noregrets #theywereamazing

We hiked out to Mosquito Lake (zero mosquitos though- thanks to the wind!) and tried to plan how we could possibly move out here full-time.

What show are you currently binging on Netflix?? --> I'm watching The Crown (sans Alex) and we're rewatching Parks & Rec because it's just the perfect way to end the day

Ever made homemade Cinnamon Rolls? --> I thought they would be really difficult, but it was actually pretty fun!

Do you have any cats or dogs? --> Stella, Maple, & Brady (1 dog/ 2 kittens)
